Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer, Requirements (Booster, PDV, SW) in Huntsville, Alabama

Be a part of the team developing the hypersonic technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to conflict. The Systems Engineer will perform tasks related to the booster, Payload Delivery Vehicle (PDV), and software (SW) and will be responsible for work in all Systems Engineering phases to include requirements definition, allocation, maintenance, and verification/validation. In addition, the Systems Engineer will support major program reviews including SRR, PDR/CDR, and Pre-Ship Readiness Reviews (PSRR). The Systems Engineer will support the requirements verification process to include development of Verification and Test Plans. The Systems Engineer will participate in Specification and Interface Control Document development. The Systems Engineer will also support target system analyses in support of mission planning and execution. The Systems Engineer may support missions at various test ranges. Some travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications - Systems Engineering processes including one or more of the following: 1) requirements identification, decomposition and allocation 2) interface control document and element specification development and management 3) requirements implementation verification assessment 4) system-level compatibility assessments and other system-level launch system integration analyses - US Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret level clearance

Desired skills - Customer interface experience - Support to major design reviews - Target/missile system engineering - DOORS, MatLab, and/or other designor analysis tools - Active Secret clearance
