GAP Solutions Inc Software Engineer in Huntsville, Alabama
This software engineer position will be primarily responsible for activities including but not limited to serving as technical Point of Contact (POC) between CMDS SE and SW Directorates, PEO M&S SE, and USARMY Test Personnel, providing engineering support across all physical and software interfaces, and providing technical expertise on all aspects of MML HW and SW.
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering or Computer Science is required, plus at least five (5) years of professional work experience in Software Systems Engineering.
Familiarity with UML and SysML tools, specifically MagicDraw.
Familiarity with requirements management tools, specifically IBM DOORS.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the IFPC and MML integration effort into the Integrate Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Battle Command System (IBCS) baseline program for CMDS.
The candidate must be self-motivated, possess leadership and communication skills, and be capable of working in a multi-tasking environment.
Knowledge of network communications protocols and Data Distribution Service (DDS) is also a plus.
Experience working in a classified environment is a plus
Active Secret Clearance preferred
