Trident Technologies has a contingent position for a Senior Aviation Subject Matter Expert in Huntsville, Alabama.

The Senior Aviation Subject Matter Expert and Program Integrator will support a US Army customer located on Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. The candidate will assist in the development of acquisition strategies/plans; system budgets; contracting strategies; Aviation training strategies; and the preparation of contract requirements packages. Will serve on Integrated Product Teams supporting the procurement, modernization and life-cycle management of Army Rotary and Fixed Wing aircraft fleets. Will review and approve Contract Data Items and Technical Proposals to ensure compliance with Procurement Work Statements (PWS). The candidate will analyze and assist with associated cost estimates and program schedules, and provide strategic analysis and recommendations. The candidate is responsible for preparing training strategies and training assessments, funding requests, justifications, impact statements and cost savings reports as required for proper execution of funds. Drafts and produces internal and external communications for the Director including white papers, briefings, milestone decision reviews, and other special reports. Will be responsible for coordination with multiple DoD activities including: PEO Aviation, TRADOC, FORSCOM, CENTCOM, INSCOM, ATEC, and the Army Staff. The candidate will provide direct support to the leadership and staff by preparing and presenting briefings and other products.

Required Skills

Detailed experience and Knowledge of Army Aviation:

  • Operations

  • Sustainment

  • Training

The ideal candidate will have at least 20 years of military or Civil Service experience, with at least 10 years of experience in the acquisition of Army systems. Experience with Army Aviation training development and execution.

BS/BA with a minimum of 20 years’ experience or MS and 15 years.

Required Experience

Experience supporting an Army Program Executive Office or Major Command

Must be capable to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
