This is a Program Operations position located at the Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS) Huntsville, Alabama site. The position is responsible for all manufacturing and Operations related activities that support the SM3 IA/IB Program Missile Recertification and Depot activities. Job Duties: The successful candidate will report to the AMDS Program Operations Director in the AMDS Production Line, and the position is located in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is the primary interface between the Program Office “Team of Five” and all factories that support recertification. In addition, this role will support the new SM3 emerging programs as needed for front end of the business that occurs in Huntsville, Alabama. The Program Operations lead will be tasked to define clear operational schedules, priorities and goals for each facility; lead, collaborate and influence functional managers, MDA customers, Program Tof5, to support continuous manufacturing flow. This position is also accountable for factory integration, consolidated program performance, and unique program requirements flow down to the factories as well as MOCAS performance. Critical to the role will be to coordinate and develop operations requirements for all gate reviews. This position will be the single Operations point of contact for proposal development and approval to assure proposed costs or challenges are understood by Operations leadership and factories. Key responsibilities include ownership of the Program’s OSQ and discrete EAC and budget for all factory performance. This position involves direct support of manufacturing activities and requires spending significant amounts of time in and around factory areas. The ideal candidate will possess the demonstrated skills and experience necessary to perform in technical, program and manufacturing leadership roles. This position will also collaborate with SM3 IB Production Program Operations in Tucson, Arizona travelling as required to support factories in other locations (Tucson, Az, and Dallas, Texas). Experience with production operations/ manufacturing sites is strongly preferred. The preferred candidate must be capable of working beyond the typical 40 hour work week, travel domestically and move between buildings and local facilities. This position requires the ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD Secret clearance Desired Skills: 10 years applicable experience required.
