Java or C++ Software Engineer_ASE Lab (Job Number:434410)
SAIC has a need for a mid-level Software Engineer with Java, C++ programming experience.
The successful candidate will develop new/enhance existing simulation and test suite software for the Aircraft Survivability Equipment System Integration Lab (ASE SIL) at the Software Engineering Directorate (SED). The ASE SIL is designed to operate within a laboratory environment with both tactical LRUs (Line Replaceable Units) and LRU simulations. Input signals are simulated to the LRUs to mimic operations (on ground or flight) status. The SIL is used for testing of new software and to resolve equipment anomalies before deployment of upgrades and post deployment support of fielded aircraft.
BS in computer science or system engineering (with SW focus) and 5+ years experience is required
Experience with real time software systems
Must have strong skills in Java, C/C++ programming languages
Significant work experience with Linux, Solaris, or Windows operating systems
Rhapsody and LabVIEW
Understanding of flight simulators or simulation and modeling of sensor and countermeasure systems
