Leidos Field Engineer in HUNTSVILLE, Alabama
The GETS Program at Leidos has an opening for a Field Engineer to work in our Huntsville, Alabama facility. This opportunity at the GETS Program provides support for the GETS-1000 Automatic Test System (ATE) designed to test and diagnose circuit cards and other replaceable units from radar and missile systems.
This position will require maintaining our test systems located at our facility, and at various customer locations. This position requires troubleshooting technical problems and determining technical solutions in accordance with our ATE system, device under test, and customer specifications. The primary responsibility is to maintain operations at our Huntsville facility however travel will be required and may be extensive, both foreign and domestic.
Conducting technical analysis of ATE system modifications and upgrades in accordance with specific customer specifications.
Participating in ATE system lifecycle support, including development, integration, testing, analysis, delivery, and installation.
Developing lesson materials and conducts training tailored for individual customers and requirements.
Providing guidance to customers in developing and establishing operation, maintenance, and repair procedures based on local requirements.

Bachelor’s Degree and 2 or more years of related experience. 4 year’s directly related experience may offset the degree requirement.
Experience with C/C++.
Solid general electronics knowledge.
Ability to read and interpret schematics.
Ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance.
Troubleshooting and problem analysis skills are critical.
Automatic Test Equipment experience desired and broad electronics knowledge supporting analog, digital, RF, microwave and special purpose testing.
Experience with PATRIOT radar/missile systems or similar equipment.
Automatic Test Equipment system supports analog, digital, RF, microwave and special purpose testing.
Active DoD secret clearance.
