The Digital Projects Specialist will report to the Head of Special Collections and Archives and will be responsible for library services related to the Library's digitization program.
Master's degree in Library Science, Archival Studies, History, or a related field/6 months of full-time verifiable work experience in a library or archives setting/must have experience in Archive Space, DSpace, CONTENTdm, LibApps, or Omeka or another library or archival content management system/must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite/must possess excellent verbal communication and presentation skills/certificate in Archival studies, Digital Curation or a membership in the Academy of Certified Archivist is preferred/ability to read, write, and translate German is desired/experience with Dublin Core, Extensible Markup Language (XML), Encoded Archival Description (EAD) or Text Encoding Initiative (TEI) is preferred/experience selecting and scanning documents for Library and Archival projects is desired/1 year experience in a library or archives setting is preferred
The approximate annual salary range for this position is $37,000 - $39,091.
