Work you ll do
As a Consultant within our Cyber Risk team, you will:
Work with Federal clients to mitigate cyber risk and threats
Support systems engineering activities and analysis of the System of System (SoS) product configurations, and risk mitigations within the client organization.
Participate in secure coding practice, vulnerability identification, and cyber threat intelligence is necessary.
Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues
Conduct relevant research, data analysis, and create reports
Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products
Assist in proposal development, as requested
Actively expand consulting skills and professional development through training courses, mentoring, and daily interaction with clients
Perform cyber hunting for malicious activity across the network and digital assets
Perform penetration testing and assessments
Perform payload analysis of packets
Provide input to assist with implementation of counter-measures or mitigating controls
Collaborate with technical and threat intelligence analysts to provide indications and warnings
Contribute to predictive analysis of malicious activity
Develop cyber intelligence threat analysis involving actual and alleged instances of information collection

Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Security, Cybersecurity, or related field
0-1 year(s) of relevant Cyber Security consulting or industry experience
Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools
Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
Working experience against advanced persistent threats
Knowledge of the intelligence community mission, policy, structure, and capabilities
Detailed knowledge and analysis experience of applicable security tools, technologies, and trends
Working knowledge of log, network, and system forensic investigation techniques
Penetration testing experience
Active SECRET Clearance
Previous Federal Consulting experience
Understanding of fundamental cloud computing concepts
Experience with Information Assurance concepts and processes within the Federal government
Knowledge of and experience with Federal security regulations, standards, and processes including FISMA, FIPS, NIST, and FedRAMP
Scripting or programming background (Python ideally)
Most useful certs include: GCIH, GPEN, GXPN, OSCP, GCED, GCFA, GCIA, CISSP, etc.
Tool familiarity includes: Metasploit, Splunk, IDA Pro, Volatility, Cuckoo, Nessus, Snort, Wireshark, etc.
Working experience against advanced persistent threats
Reverse engineering and malware experience
