Seeking PRN Physical Therapist to join our Decatur, AL clinic.

  • Provides rehabilitative treatment in accordance to the POC taking into consideration the referring diagnosis (if applicable) and adhering to any precautions, contraindications and supplied post-surgical protocols.

-Functional exercise programs for each patient and instructs ambulatory procedures, as indicated.

  • Re-assesses each patient assigned to them during each treatment session

  • Provide professional and collaborative communication with referring Healthcare providers regarding patient issues, progression and any questions / updates. Provide progress notes and Discharge summaries on all patients.

-Oversee Support staff at all times when appropriate in accordance with applicable state practice acts

-Work in a collaborative model with PTA’s and provide supervision in accordance with applicable state practice acts


Observes and evaluates treatment effects:

  • Recommends and alters Plans of Care to the patient and / or the referring Healthcare Provider either verbal or written communication.

  • Discusses condition and treatment course of patient with Clinic Director/Lead Physical Therapist

  • Treat each patient holistically and make referrals to appropriate Healthcare providers when a patient’s condition or co-morbidity falls outside of the scope of Physical Therapy and warrants additional care.

  • Maintains electronic records pertinent to patient treatments in a timely manner:

  • Initial Notes

  • Treatment Plan

  • Daily S-O-A-P recording

  • Patient Education

  • Discharge Summary


  • Must currently possess a physical therapist license or will possess a physical therapist license in the next 3 months in state of interest

  • Will be a graduate or soon-to-be graduate of an accredited physical therapy or equivalent curriculum

  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be highly motivated, open-minded and eager to learn.
